David Pitcairn

David Pitcairn is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in aerospace and aviation design. Currently serving as IPT lead at Piasecki Aircraft Corp. since November 2005, David previously held the position of Lead Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation from February 2001 to November 2005 and worked as an Engineer at Bell Helicopter from 1998 to 2000. David began a career in design engineering at Jaran Aerospace Corp. from May 1994 to April 1998, where responsibilities included detailed design, analysis, and drafting of the JA-184 four-seat general aviation aircraft. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completing studies from 1993 to 1998.
