Pooja Sankar began their career in 2004 as a Software Developer at Oracle. In 2006, they moved to Kosmix in the same role. In 2008, they joined Facebook as a Software Developer. In 2009, they founded Piazza, and later became the CEO & Founder.
Pooja Sankar completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2002. Pooja then went on to pursue their Master's degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland which they completed in 2004. In 2008, they completed their MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
