Andrea Biasioli

Andrea Biasioli, Ph.D. has experience working as a Sr. Data Scientist at Picarro, Inc. and previously as an Assistant Specialist at UC Irvine. Andrea managed a research project on monitoring methods for power plant emissions, developed experimental facilities for spectroscopic instruments, and collaborated with industry partners. Andrea also worked as a Data Scientist for the South Korea Women's Volleyball National Team, where Andrea predicted opponent game choices and developed data-driven game plans resulting in 4th place at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from UC Irvine, Andrea has a strong background in research, teaching, and data analysis in both engineering and sports contexts.
