Jorge A. Perez Calles

Jorge A. Perez Calles is a seasoned electrical and hardware design engineer with extensive experience in the field spanning over three decades. As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Picarro, Inc. since 2012, Jorge leads the design of electronics for natural gas detection systems used globally. Previous roles include Team Lead at FTG Aerospace, overseeing the manufacturing of specialized printed circuit boards, and Lead Hardware Engineer at General Dynamics Canada, where responsibilities included military airworthiness certification and system integration for airborne display products. Jorge also has a rich history in the development of sonar systems and particle accelerator maintenance at the University of Toronto. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an Electronic Engineering Technician qualification from Seneca Polytechnic.
