Gerhard Mills has over 15 years of work experience, starting in 2006. Gerhard began their career as a Tax Consultant at 1st Contact in 2006, then moved on to work as a Reconciliation Analyst at BNP Paribas in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Business Improvement Controller at Distell. Mills then joined UCS Solutions in 2009 as a Supply Chain Consultant, where they have been involved in the implementation and support of SAP F&R advanced planning system for Pick n Pay. At UCS Solutions, Mills was also the National Business Process Owner of Fresh Foods in the Supply Chain Division. In 2015, they took on the role of Supply Chain Development Manager at Pick n Pay before becoming the HOD: Dry Goods Outbound - Inland & KZN in 2016. Their most recent role at Pick n Pay is as the Head of Groceries Supply Chain Planning.

Gerhard Mills attended Stellenbosch University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
