Dave Williams has a diverse work history spanning multiple industries. Dave began their career as a General Assistant at Tesco in 2006 and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2018, they served as a Store Manager at Specsavers. In 2018, they transitioned to Nathaniel Car Sales Ltd, where they worked as a Nathaniel Car Sales representative until 2020. Currently, Dave holds the position of Operations Manager at Pick Pack Direct Ltd, which they started in June 2020.

Dave Williams attended Bryntirion Comprehensive from 2001 to 2007. Dave did not obtain a degree or choose a specific field of study during this time. In 2007, Dave enrolled in Pencoed College and completed a one-year Diploma program in Animal Management by 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Dave has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they received a certification in ophthalmic dispensing at the College of Optometrists. Most recently, in 2020, Dave obtained a certification in specialist automotive finance from a institution called "saf". Additionally, in 2021, they completed a Train The Trainer Forklift certification program at the RTITB Instructor Academy.
