Mark Welch, PE

Mark Welch, PE has extensive work experience in civil and structural engineering. Mark started their career as a Civil Engineer at Pickering Associates, Inc. in 2006 and worked their way up to become the Vice President of Construction in June 2019. Throughout their tenure at Pickering Associates, they held various roles including Senior Project Manager, Civil/Structural Engineering Manager, and Civil Engineering Department Manager.

Prior to joining Pickering Associates, Mark worked as a Civil Engineer in the Bridge Department at West Virginia DOT from February 2005 to March 2006.

Mark Welch, PE obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. In 2012, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's Degree in Engineering at Marshall University, which they completed in 2014.
