Michael Kauffeld

Michael Kauffeld currently serves as the Principal of Toll Gate Middle School within the Pickerington Local School District since August 2021. Prior to this role, Kauffeld was the Principal at Teays Valley West Middle School from July 2002 to July 2021, and earlier held positions as a Teacher and Athletic Director at Hamilton Township Public Schools from 1995 to 2002. Kauffeld began a coaching career as the Assistant Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Athletic Director at Capital University from 1990 to 1995. Michael Kauffeld earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Ashland University between 2000 and 2005 and completed undergraduate studies at Capital University from 1985 to 1988.
