James Newgent

James Newgent has a diverse work experience in the real estate industry. James started their career in 1995 as the Managing Member of New Horizon Real Estate, LLC., where they were responsible for all aspects of real estate investment and brokerage. In 2015, they became the Chief Investment Officer at RiverRock Capital Partners LLC, a private equity firm focused on real estate acquisitions. James then co-founded Looking Glass Investment Technologies, LLC. in 2014, where they developed tailored software for analyzing and processing acquisitions in excess of $2 billion for clients. In 2021, they joined Inertia Realty as the Head of Inertia, contributing to the development of a transformative platform for the single-family housing sector. James also served as the Managing Member at SouthCrest Realty, specializing in real estate analytics and acquisitions for institutional and overseas investors. Currently, they are the Head of Growth and Client Strategy at Picket Homes, a technology-oriented enterprise in the real estate industry. Overall, James has gained extensive expertise in various aspects of real estate, including investment, analytics, acquisitions, and client strategy.

James Newgent attended The Ohio State University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance.
