Jerry Howell

Jerry Howell has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jerry currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations at Pico, a role they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Operations at LTN Global from July 2022 to November 2022.

Jerry's previous experience includes senior leadership roles at Zayo Group, where they served as the Senior Director of Customer Focused Operations from October 2017 to July 2022. In this position, they led a team of 82 members and was responsible for evaluating network analytics and improving customer network performance. Jerry also managed the customer transport network control center, mitigating the impact of equipment failures on customers.

Before joining Zayo Group, Jerry held the position of Sr. Account Manager (Outside Sales) at Logix Communications from October 2013 to May 2014.

Jerry also has experience in managerial roles at Rovi, where they managed a team across advertising and direct marketing as the Manager of Ad Operations and Traffic from July 2011 to July 2013. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Sales at Hibernia Media from July 2009 to July 2011, where they oversaw network design plans, collaborated with engineering, and maintained relationships with key accounts.

Jerry's career in the industry began at Level 3 Communications, where they held the position of Lead Local Access Coordinator from July 1998 to July 2006. In this role, they were responsible for local access circuit turn-ups/turn-downs and project management for high-profile events.

Additionally, Jerry has experience working at ESPN as a Senior Network Transport Engineer, managing ESPN's private domestic and international fiber optic network from August 2006 to July 2009, and as a Transmission Services Engineer from August 2006 to March 2007.

Overall, Jerry has a diverse range of experience in operations, sales, management, and engineering within the telecommunications industry.
