Seetharam Gorre

Seetharam Gorre has extensive experience in the finance and technology industry. Seetharam currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Pico since 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Managing Director and Head of Global Trading Technology at Citadel from 2018 to 2019. From 2014 to 2018, Seetharam was the Chief Information Officer at Point72 Asset Management, where they played a crucial role in driving technology innovation and transformation. Seetharam also served as the Co-CTO at SAC Capital from 2002 to 2014, overseeing the development of trading systems and investment tools. Seetharam began their career as a contractor at UBS, focusing on rewriting legacy middle and back office systems and deploying third-party software.

Seetharam Gorre completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computers from Bradley University, from 1995 to 1997. Seetharam also holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical, which they obtained from MVSR between 1991 and 1995.
