Marshel Savarimuthu

Marshel Savarimuthu has extensive work experience in network engineering and operations. Marshel started their career as a Network Engineer at Wipro in 2008, where they managed the global network infrastructure of a major French investment bank and worked on disaster recovery planning. Marshel later became a Senior Network Administrator at Wipro, where they ensured the availability of network security devices and configured firewalls and VPNs.

In 2017, Marshel joined NTT DATA, Inc. as a Network Engineering Consultant, where they worked as a Level 3 engineer supporting the global network operations of Citibank. Marshel provided tier III/expert level support and assisted in major incidents, handling conference calls and performing business and management notifications.

In 2019, Marshel moved to Schroders as a Network Engineer, where they worked until 2021. Marshel was responsible for network engineering tasks and contributed to the design and implementation of network architecture requirements.

From 2021 to 2023, Marshel worked at CME Group as a Senior Network Operations Engineer, focusing on network operations and maintenance.

Currently, Marshel is employed at Pico as a Network Implementation Engineer and holds the position of Vice President.

Marshel Savarimuthu holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which was completed from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, Marshel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from St. Joseph College of Arts and Science, Trichy, from 2005 to 2008. Additionally, Marshel has obtained certifications such as "Microsoft certified azure Fundamentals" from Microsoft, "Arista ACE" from Arista Networks, "Infoblox CDCA" from Infoblox, and "ccna,ccnp,ccip" from Cisco.
