Dave Bjork is a lung cancer survivor and dedicated cancer patient advocate, currently serving as the Vice President of Empowerment at Gryt Health. They are the founder and host of the Research Evangelist Podcast, where they interview influential figures in life sciences and emphasize the importance of patient involvement in developing new treatments. As an advisor on the Patient Insights Board at Medidata Solutions, Dave advocates for the patient perspective in clinical trials. With a rich history in healthcare consulting, patient advocacy, and fundraising for cancer research, Dave championed initiatives focused on health equity and community engagement. They continue their education at the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School.
