Steve Blanchet

Steve Blanchet, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Group Technology Strategy and Innovation at Pictet Group since April 2021 and is a member of the Expert Commission on Digitisation for Swiss Banking since June 2024. Previously, Steve held various senior roles at Capital One from June 2016 to February 2021, leading digital strategy initiatives and advising executives on the convergence of financial services and technology. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where leadership encompassed advising Fortune 500 clients. Steve's academic background comprises a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics with a focus on Particle Cosmology from the Technical University of Munich, and research fellowships at prestigious institutions, including the Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
