Gil Tapiero has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Gil started their career at Sela Semiconductors Ltd. in 1997 as a Software Developer, where they specialized in developing GUI and Automation for multidisciplinary systems. Gil worked with C++ on Windows OS and MFC libraries, and also handled integration, debugging, customer support, and malfunctions.
In 2009, Gil joined Camtek as an R&D Software Engineer, focusing on designing and developing software for high accuracy and complex machines. Their expertise in C++, C#, and WPF allowed him to excel in client development and Winforms.
In 2014, Gil joined Intel Corporation as an Algorithm Software Engineer. Here, they worked on algorithms development using C++ and C# on Windows OS. Gil also utilized OMP for parallelizing code, showcasing their proficiency in software engineering.
Most recently, in 2018, Gil co-founded PicUP and assumed the role of Co-Founder & CTO. The details of their responsibilities and contributions during this role are not provided.
