Furkan Bacak

Furkan Bacak has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Furkan started their career in 2019 at Kuartis Technology and Consulting, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During this time, Furkan built a web-based Data Annotation tool for Turkey's Ministry of Defense, which is currently being used nationwide. Furkan left the company in October 2021.

In 2021, Furkan worked as a self-employed remote Full-stack Developer, primarily using the MERN stack. Furkan collaborated with two teammates to develop a payment systems solution for a US-based company. Furkan'scontract ended in November 2022.

In 2022, Furkan joined Toptal as a Full-stack Developer. Furkan started in August and is currently employed in this role.

In 2023, Furkan will start a new role as a Software Engineer at Picus Security. The start date and duration of this position have not been specified.

Furkan Bacak received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Informatics at the Technical University of Munich, a program which they began in 2021 and expects to complete in 2023.
