Mehmet Kiliç

Mehmet KILIÇ has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Mehmet is currently the Director of Cyber Security Practice at Picus Security, a role they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Cyber Security Practice Lead from October 2021 to October 2022 and as a Product Manager from April 2020 to October 2021. Mehmet also worked as the Discovery Team Lead at Picus Security from October 2019 to April 2020, where they were responsible for exploring and developing innovative ideas.

Before joining Picus Security, Mehmet worked at Garanti BBVA Teknoloji as a Cyber Security Incident Response Expert from May 2019 to October 2019, and as a Senior Incident Responder from December 2017 to May 2019. Mehmet also gained experience at BGA Bilgi Gçvenligi A.Ş., where they served as an Enterprise Security Operations Specialist from June 2017 to December 2017, and as a Senior SOC Analyst from December 2015 to June 2017.

Mehmet was a Co-Founder of Cyber Risk Investigator (CRI) from December 2015 to March 2017. Mehmet started their career as an IT Security Engineer at Garanti Teknoloji from July 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, they completed an internship at Lostar in 2013.

Mehmet KILIÇ began their education in 2006 at Selçuk Üniversitesi, where they pursued a degree in Computer Programming. Mehmet graduated in 2008 with Honors. Following that, from 2009 to 2014, Mehmet attended the Izmir Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. In 2016, Mehmet received a certification in Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator from EC-Council.
