Gerd Simoens

Gerd Simoens is a seasoned professional in the food production and consultancy sectors, currently serving as Plant Manager at Pidy since August 2023. Simoens has extensive experience, having worked at Elnaco as a Zaakvoerder since May 2016, focusing on consultancy and management. Previously, Simoens held the position of Plant Manager at Mestdagh Artisan from May 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing the production of high-quality frozen products. Prior to that, Simoens was Corporate Plant Director at Pidy Gourmet from June 2016 to April 2022 and gained foundational experience at Nanuk NV/SA from 1993 to March 2016. Simoens is an alumnus of Hotelschool Ter Duinen.
