Oz Trachtman is an experienced professional with a range of work experience. Oz co-founded and served as the CTO of Piecemeal Inc., a SaaS platform that uses artificial intelligence to streamline restaurant management tasks. Oz was a participant in the 2019-20 cohort of MT Lab, an innovation hub focused on entrepreneurship and innovation in the tourism, culture, and entertainment industries. Oz also participated in the Montreal cohort of NextAI, an accelerator program for AI startups. Prior to these roles, they worked as a mobile application developer as a freelancer and owned Ta'amama Restaurant, specializing in homemade Jewish-Iraqi food. Additionally, Oz was the CEO and co-founder of Brightly Games, an indie mobile gaming company that developed the game Fair Frenzy. Oz also worked as a flash developer and designer as a freelancer and at MaestroReading Inc. Oz served in the Israel Defense Forces from 2007 to 2010.
Oz Trachtman began their education in 1999 at Yoav Shualy's painting studio, where they studied drawing and painting until 2002. Oz then attended Blich High School from 2004 to 2007, earning a high school diploma with a focus on environmental science. In 2013, they enrolled at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, studying computer science. During the same year, they also attended Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, focusing on industrial and product design. Oz has obtained additional certifications including "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," and "Y Combinator Startup School." These certifications were obtained in 2018 from Coursera and Startup School Online.
