Darrell Manning has had extensive work experience in various industries. Darrell started their career as a Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1995 to 1997. Later, they worked as an Accounting Analyst at Des Champs Laboratories from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2004, Darrell worked at GE Financial, first as part of the Leadership Development Program and later as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Darrell then joined Genworth Financial as a Project Manager from 2004 to 2009. Darrell continued their career at Centra Health as a Senior Process Engineer from 2009 to 2010, and then as a Senior Project Manager, Quality Analytics from 2010 to 2013. Darrell furthered their career at Centra Medical Group as the Director of Business Development/Provider Contracting from 2013 to 2017. Currently, Darrell holds key positions at Piedmont Community Health Plan, starting as the Director of Project Management from 2017 to 2018, then as the Director Of Operations from 2018 to 2019, and currently as the Director of Commercial Products & Project Management since 2020.
Darrell Manning completed their Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Southern Virginia University in the years 1997 to 2000. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business between 2003 and 2005. In 2002, they also obtained the Fellow, Life Insurance Management Institute (FLMI) designation from the Life Insurance Management Institute.
