Melanie Lynne serves as a Provider Relations Coordinator at Piedmont Community Health Plan since March 2022, where responsibilities include administering processes for provider network participation and implementing updates in the Health Rules Payer System. Prior to this role, Melanie worked at Centra Health as a Patient Access Representative, enhancing patient support in a high-volume Emergency Department from August 2021 to May 2022. With extensive experience as a Certified and Licensed Occupational Therapist from October 1999 to April 2022, Melanie performed patient assessments and custom treatments across a diverse population in various settings, including home health and skilled nursing facilities. Additionally, from 2010 to 2016, Melanie contributed as the Assistant Rehab Director at Autumn Care/Saber Health Care, offering therapy plans and leadership for a multidisciplinary team. Melanie holds a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Management from Western Governors University and is set to sit for the RHIA certification exam in summer 2023.
