Carli Spence

Carli Spence is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in early childhood education. Currently serving as the Early Learning Center Director at Piedmont Family YMCA since April 2024, Carli previously held the position of Early Head Start Education Manager at Monticello Area Community Action Agency from July 2023 to March 2024. Prior roles include Program Specialist at Westminster Child Care Center and Lead Teacher at The Child Development Lab at the McPhaul Center, among others. Carli's expertise encompasses staff training, compliance with Virginia Quality standards, lesson plan development, and fostering children's holistic needs. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching from The University of Georgia, along with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from The University of Alabama.
