Awilda Anderson

Awilda Anderson is an experienced professional in operations management with a robust background in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Piedmont since July 2023, Awilda previously held the same role at WellStar Health System from March 1998 to June 2023. Earlier in the career, Awilda worked as a Regional Manager at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta from December 1995 to March 1998 and as a Manager at Orlando Regional Healthcare System from September 1991 to December 1995. Awilda has expertise in managing daily operations for a multi-specialty pediatric group, including specialties such as Neonatology, Pulmonary, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Endocrinology, and Critical Care. Awilda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University and has additional education from Kennesaw State University.
