Blake E. Terrell

Blake E. Terrell is a Staff Pharmacist in Emergency Medicine and Float at Piedmont, where employment began in March 2023. Previously, Blake held the position of Pharmacy Resident at Piedmont from June to August 2022 and worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens from August 2019 to May 2022. Blake's experience includes leading a medication dispensing team, collaborating with local physicians to enhance patient outcomes, and educating patients on medication safety. During an APPE Pharmacy Externship at St. Joseph's/Candler, Blake gained exposure to various clinical settings, monitored patient therapy, consulted with physicians, and provided training to pharmacy students. Earlier experience includes a Student Intern role at Athens Infusion & Pharmacy, where Blake improved office efficiency and responded to inquiries. Blake holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Georgia.
