Stephen Porter

Stephen Porter is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive leadership experience in multiple organizations. Currently serving as Corporate Senior Vice President at Piedmont since January 2023, Stephen also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Piedmont Healthcare-Fayette since July 2019. Prior roles include Vice President/CEO at Roper St. Francis, Corporate Vice President for Northern Virginia and President of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center at Sentara Healthcare, and President of Sentara Bayside Hospital. Stephen’s career began at Corvel as Director of Network Development. Educational credentials include a Master of Health Administration from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University.
