Tammy Gilland

Tammy Gilland has extensive experience in leadership and community engagement, currently serving as Director and Vice President of the Athens Regional Foundation at Piedmont Athens Regional since June 2013. From 2015 to May 2022, Tammy held the position of Chair and served as a Board Member for the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, contributing to various committees including the Business Expo and the Scarecrow 5k Roadrace. Tammy was a Board Member of the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation until May 2022 and served as Program Facilitator for Leadership Oconee in 2016. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Director of Constituent Programs at The University of Georgia from July 1990 to June 2013. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics from The University of Georgia, completed in 1988.
