Waqas Gill

Waqas Gill is a Clinical Pharmacist at Piedmont Healthcare since July 2018, with prior experience as a Pharmacy Intern at the same organization. Waqas has also completed internships at various healthcare institutions, including Kroger, Rockdale Medical, Beasley Drug Company, Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, and WellStar Health System, where responsibilities ranged from interpreting prescriptions to patient counseling and assisting in emergency situations. Waqas gained valuable insights into pharmacy legislation through a student internship at the Georgia Pharmacy Association and performed research at Pfizer as a Medical Information Intern. Waqas holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and previously attended Georgia State University.
