Tim Palmer

Tim Palmer currently serves as Corporate Counsel at Piedmont Lithium Inc. since November 2022, following a role as Corporate Counsel and Associate Counsel at Compass Group USA from June 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, Tim held the position of Assistant District Attorney in Mecklenburg County from 2019 to June 2021. Tim's earlier experience includes being an Associate at Moore & Van Allen, PLLC and K&L Gates, and legal internships at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and K&L Gates. Educationally, Tim earned a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, alongside a brief program at Copenhagen Business School. Tim's leadership experience dates back to serving as Student Body President at South Mecklenburg High School.
