Irfan Ortak

Irfan Ortak is an experienced computer science educator with a diverse teaching background spanning various institutions. Since January 2018, Irfan has served as a Computer Science Instructor at Laney College, teaching courses such as Introduction to Programming with Python and Java Programming Language. Concurrently, since August 2016, Irfan has worked as a Computer Science Teacher for Piedmont Unified School District, focusing on AP Computer Science Principles, web design, and robotics. Other notable roles include serving as a summer school instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, and as an adjunct instructor at the College of Alameda. Irfan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and has additional degrees in Educational Technology Leadership and Computer and Information Systems Education.
