Michelle Mazzeo

Michelle Mazzeo is an experienced educator currently serving as a US History Teacher at Piedmont Unified School District since October 2019. In addition to teaching, Michelle holds roles as a Yoga Instructor and Conditioning Coach, and functions as a Teacher on Special Assignment focusing on MTSS, ESL, and leadership initiatives, including the launch of an Adult ESL and Citizenship Program. Michelle has a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, evidenced by work as a District Council Member where efforts include facilitating union meetings and supporting policy implementation. Previous experience encompasses a variety of teaching and leadership positions across different educational institutions, including elementary dual immersion teaching, curriculum management, and professional development design. Michelle's educational background includes a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, and a commitment to furthering professional credentials with a CA Admin Credential anticipated in 2024.
