Shauna Handrahan

Shauna Handrahan is an experienced counselor currently working at Piedmont Unified School District since July 2023, and has been providing personal and professional counseling through Mothers Unleashed since 2005. Previously, Shauna worked at Oakland Unified School District from August 2016 to June 2023, focusing on short-term, solution-oriented counseling for students. Shauna’s extensive background includes roles in crisis intervention at Springfield School District, coaching at Landmark Education, and mentoring for triathlon training programs. Shauna holds a Master of Science in Counseling from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Service Studies from Cornell University, along with additional certifications in doula training and HeartMath techniques.
