Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson is an experienced professional in the energy and utilities sector with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President at Southern Cross since September 2017, Jim has also held the position of Operations Manager - Construction at Piedmont Natural Gas since 2008. Previous roles include Board Member at both SC811 and NC811 from 2010 to 2016, Operations Manager at Washington Gas from July 1998 to June 2008, and Division Engineer at TECO Energy from January 1990 to July 1998. Jim Nelson earned a degree in Business Management from Florida State University - College of Business between 1977 and 1981.
