Sarah McGarrell

Sarah McGarrell has extensive experience in corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, private offerings, and corporate governance. As a Partner at Pierce Atwood LLP from November 2016 to May 2022, Sarah specialized in M&A transactions and early-stage financing, advising start-up founders and seed investors. Prior to this, as an Associate at Gennari Aronson, Sarah focused on corporate governance and represented clients in private placements and mergers. Sarah's experience also includes co-founding and serving as Chief Operating Officer at Space with a Soul, overseeing office management and tenant relations, and acting as Counsel for Seaside Investments, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance for portfolio companies and negotiating contracts. Throughout the career, Sarah has developed a keen interest in the emerging cannabis industry and has represented various stakeholders in that field.
