Alec Derks

Alec Derks is an accomplished structural designer with a solid educational background and diverse work experience in civil engineering. Holding both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering from Saint Louis University, Alec has developed expertise through roles at various companies. Currently serving as a Structural Designer at Pierce Engineers, Inc. since June 2022, Alec previously worked as a Staff Engineer at Patrick Engineering from January 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, Alec gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant at Saint Louis University and as a Structural Engineer Intern at Jacobs. Early in the career, Alec held the position of Design Intern/Technician at KL Engineering, Inc. from May 2017 to August 2018.
