Joseph Severino

Joseph Severino, MPA, LSSGB, is a seasoned professional with significant experience in safety, training, and transportation management. Currently serving as the Safety & Training Supervisor at Pierce Transit since February 2012, Joseph oversees a team of 14 employees and is responsible for developing training curricula. Previously, Joseph had a distinguished career in the United States Air Force from May 1990 to September 2011, holding several key positions including Transportation Manager, where responsibilities included managing a $3.3 million vehicle fleet and maintaining a 99% customer satisfaction rate. Joseph also served as Unit Deployment Manager, Training & Validation Supervisor, and Training Instructor, achieving an impressive 93% pass rate among over 2,800 students. Joseph holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Phoenix, as well as degrees in Education and Training and Logistics Management from Wayland Baptist University and the Community College of the Air Force, respectively.
