Pierce Transit
Yuri Mejia has over a decade of experience in IT and systems analysis, currently serving as a System Analyst at Pierce Transit since March 2018. Previously, Yuri held various positions at Tacoma Power, including System Administration Power Engineer II, where support was provided for the Energy Management System, and Reliability and Compliance Management Analyst I, focusing on NERC CIP standards compliance. Additional roles included Engineering Technician 4 at ManTech and Information Systems Analyst at LandAmerica Financial Group. Yuri began a career in technology with the US Air Force as a Computer Systems Operator. Educationally, Yuri holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a Security Emphasis from Western Governors University, complemented by studies in Security and Computer Science at Tacoma Community College.
