Justin Meckler

Justin Meckler has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Justin is currently working as the Chief Power Engineer at Pieridae Energy Limited since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Operations Lead at Strathcona Resources Ltd. from January 2022 to May 2022. Before that, they held the same position at Cenovus Energy from January 2021 to January 2022. Justin also worked at Husky Energy for nearly nine years, starting as a Control Room Operator/Plant Operator from September 2012 to April 2015, and then as an Operations Lead from April 2015 to January 2021. Their early career began at SaskPower, where they held multiple roles including Operating Engineer from March 2009 to March 2012, Assistant Operator from March 2006 to March 2009, and Utility Operator from June 2003 to March 2006.

Justin Meckler completed their education in the field of Power Engineering. Justin attended Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from an unknown start year and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Power Engineering. Later on, they obtained a certification as a First Class Power Engineer from ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority, in an unspecified month and year.
