Amir Rmaile has held a variety of professional roles since 2003. Amir began their career as a Dentist at a Private Dental Clinic in 2003. Amir then became a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida State University in 2005. In 2007, they moved to the University of Colorado-Boulder, School of Dental Medicine-Aurora, where they held the role of Postgraduate Research Associate / Lecturer. In 2009, they became Chief Operating Dentist at Polyclinic. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Southampton. During this time they also held the role of Business Developer at Polyclinics. In 2013, they joined Philips, where they held the roles of Team Lead, Strategic Thought Leader, Board Member of ICBE (Internal Committee Biomedical Experiments), Senior Clinical Scientist, Head of Department, and Clinical Research Scientist. In 2016, they became an Angel at RENUSU, a company that offers patented nutritional supplements. In 2021, they became Co-Founder at Piersica.
Amir Rmaile obtained their High School Diploma from the National Evangelical Institute for Girls & Boys in Lebanon from 1994 to 1997. Amir then attended Beirut Arab University from 1997 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Dentistry. From 2005 to 2007, they obtained a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from Florida State University. Lastly, Amir Rmaile completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering from the University of Southampton from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Licensed Dental Surgeon certification from Lebanon in December 2003 and a Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2020.
