Roderick Maddox has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Roderick began their career at GTE as an RF Engineer from 1996 to 1999 and later worked as a Switch Equipment Engineer from 1999 to 2000. At Verizon Wireless, they held various roles including Network Manager, Network Director, and Executive Director. In these positions, they managed teams responsible for network design, implementation, and performance, oversaw the deployment of In Building solutions, and was involved in financial management and business strategies. Maddox also played a key role in the integration of Alltel and RCC networks. Currently, they serve as the Vice President - Strategy, Sales, and Marketing at Pierson Wireless, where they are responsible for corporate strategy and business development. Pierson Wireless specializes in In Building Wireless solutions, particularly those utilizing Distributed Antenna Systems.
Roderick Maddox completed their high school education at Booker T Washington/HSEP HS from 1984 to 1988. Roderick then enrolled at Prairie View A&M University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued higher education at Texas A&M University, where they earned a Master of Electrical Engineering (MEEE) degree in Electrical Engineering from 1994 to 1998.
