Christy Barton Joyce

Christy Barton Joyce has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Student Assistant to Reunions Coordinator at Wheaton College in 2006. Christy then joined Teach for America in 2009, where they served as a Corps Member (high school Spanish teacher) and Campus Campaign Coordinator. In 2009, they also interned in the Major Gifts Department at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs. From 2013 to 2020, they held various roles at A Better Chicago, including Director of Portfolio Impact, Portfolio Impact Manager, Portfolio Associate, and Project Coordinator. In 2020, they became the Head of Strategy at Piestro and the Director at Wavemaker Labs. In 2021, they assumed the role of Director of Finance & Strategy at 800 Degrees Go.

Christy Barton Joyce attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2016 to 2019, where they earned their MBA in Strategic Management, Behavioral Science, and Operations. Christy also attended Wheaton College, where they earned an M.A. in Theirtorical and Systematic Theology and a B.A. in Spanish and Urban Studies between 2006 and 2009. Additionally, Christy Barton Joyce attended the Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth (CTY).
