Sergey Borovik

Sergey Borovik has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Sergey began their career as a Software Engineer with the Israel Defense Forces in 2004 and worked there until 2009. Following that, they joined Jivy Group as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Team Lead from 2009 to 2015. In 2014, Sergey co-founded Makeree and assumed the role of CTO. Sergey stayed with Makeree until 2020. Currently, Sergey is working at Piggy as a Senior Software Engineer and has recently been promoted to the position of VP R&D.

Sergey Borovik holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the College of Management Academic Studies, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a program at the IDF School of Computer Science (Basmach) in 2004, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In 1999, Sergey completed their secondary education at ORT Yad Leibovitch, earning a Bagrut in Computer Science. No specific degree or field of study is mentioned for their time at ORT Hermelin in 2003-2004.
