Deborah Okechukwu, PHRi™, ACIPM, HRPL has over 7 years of work experience. In 2022, they began working as a People Operations Associate at Piggyvest. In 2020, they began working as a Human Resource/Admin Manager at Heckerbella. In 2019, they began working as a Human Resource Officer at Family Ministries International (Africa). In 2018, they began working as a Human Resources Assistant at both the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria and Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Plc. In 2017, they began working as a Customer Service Intern at Jumia Group. In 2015, they began working as an Assistant Administrative Officer, Business Management Department at Covenant University, Work Study Program. In 2014, they began working as an Intern at Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

Deborah Okechukwu holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management from Covenant University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2017. Deborah also holds a Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, CIPM, Nigeria, which they obtained between 2016 and 2017. Deborah's educational background also includes Holy Child College, Lagos, which they attended between 2008 and 2013. Deborah also holds two certifications: a Human Resource Practitioner Licence from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria CIPM, which they obtained in June 2017, and a Professional in Human Resources - International (PHRi™) from HRCI, which they obtained in May 2021.
