Mikko Laiho

Mikko Laiho is an accomplished professional in the field of laboratory management and diagnostics with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Palvelujohtaja for Pihlajalinna since September 2024, Mikko previously held the position of Country Lead at Avantor, overseeing multiple customer sites in Finland and leading a team of over 10 individuals. Mikko's background includes significant roles at SYNLAB Suomi, including Lab Service Manager and Area Manager, where responsibilities encompassed operational management and service development. Additionally, Mikko has entrepreneurial experience as a web designer and has held various positions in biomedical laboratory science since 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Management and Leadership in Health Care from Turku University of Applied Sciences and Professional Teacher Education from Häme University of Applied Sciences.
