Ray Pigott

Ray Pigott is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the electric utility industry. Since November 2018, Ray has served as a Senior Director at Pike Corporation. Concurrently, Ray has held the position of Senior Director of Southeast Engineering at UC Synergetic since March 2013, following earlier roles as Director of Distribution Engineering and Engineering Manager at Progress Energy from 2010 to 2013. Ray's expertise includes managing projects focused on smart grid technology and distribution automation, as well as DOT relocation projects. Earlier career stages include industrial marketing management at Mississippi Power Company and foundational roles in field engineering. Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
