Tara Mccarthy

Tara McCarthy is an accomplished event professional with extensive experience in the Olympic movement, currently serving as the Executive Director at PikeRide since June 2023. Previously, Tara spent over a decade at USA Cycling, progressing through roles from National Events Manager to Director of National Events, demonstrating expertise in managing national championships and fostering long-term partnerships for event operations and financial strategy in a non-profit context. Tara has a strong background in strategic planning, problem solving, and creating inclusive events, complemented by earlier experience at USA Triathlon and Terrier Claims Services. Tara holds a degree from the University at Albany.
