Dawn worked as the President of Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, where they were responsible for the overall operations and leadership of the organization. Dawn also worked as a Change Management Sr. Consultant at KPMG and as a Change Management Consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, where they provided change management support during ERP implementations.

Dawn D. has a Master of Science degree in Instructional Systems, which they obtained from Florida State University in the year 2000. Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care has provided hospice care and palliative services for 40 years. PPHPC began offering services in 1980, and is the only community-based, nonprofit hospice provider in El Paso and Teller counties in Colorado. Patients can receive our services wherever they call home – a private residence, assisted living community or skilled nursing facility. When medical needs become more complex, we are the only area hospice provider with our own licensed inpatient care unit to manage more serious care needs in a comfortable setting. The focus of our philosophy of care is to provide quality symptom control and practical support to holistically address patients’ physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Comprehensive grief support for surviving families of loved ones continues for thirteen months following the death of our patients. In addition, PPHPC is committed to sharing its expertise about end-of-life issues through education and collaborations throughout the community.
