Michael Alessandrini has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Michael worked as a Senior Project Engineer SMP at Pilbara Minerals Limited starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Mechanical Engineer at Hatch in 2022, where they worked on the Kemerton Expansion Project. Michael was responsible for various mechanical equipment packages and worked on technical RFQ documentation and liaison with vendors and clients. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at the Public Transport Authority from 2021 to 2022, where they supported the delivery phase of the TCL rail systems scopes of work. Michael has also worked as a Mechanical Project Engineer at ENCO Group in 2020 and held various roles at Worley from 2018 to 2020, including Mechanical Engineer on BP Kwinana Refinery Projects & Engineering Team and Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer seconded to Chevron. Prior to that, they worked at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals from 2013 to 2018 in various roles including Mechanical Engineer, Piping Field Engineer, and Construction Field Engineer. Michael started their career at WorleyParsons in 2009 as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, where they worked on projects related to desalination plants and seawater treatment facilities.
Michael Alessandrini attended Churchlands Senior High School from 1999 until 2003, where they obtained a Western Australian Certificate of Education. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University from 2005 to 2009.
