Kerri Sugrue CFE SCLA CIFI possesses extensive experience in insurance fraud investigation, currently serving as Secretary for the New England Association of Insurance Fraud Investigators since September 2022 and as a Senior Investigator in the Special Investigations Unit at Pilgrim Insurance since July 2017. Prior roles include Special Investigations Supervisor and Senior Special Investigator at GEICO, where responsibilities included leading a team of investigators and preparing major case files for civil court. Kerri also held positions as an Internal Auditor at Liberty Mutual Insurance, managing fraud audits, and as a Claims Adjuster at Electric Insurance Company, where the focus was on personal lines and auto damage claims. Kerri obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Northeastern University and holds multiple professional designations, including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
