Jim Plunkert

Jim Plunkert, CPA MBA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as CFO of Pillar Clinical Research, LLC since May 2021, Plunkert previously held the position of Vice President - Finance & Accounting at A-MAX Auto Insurance and served as Vice President - Controller at both Confie and Affirmative Insurance. Additional experience includes corporate consulting at DLC and significant tenure at Verizon, where Plunkert worked as Assistant Controller/Manager following a role as Sr Auditor at Deloitte & Touche. Early career contributions also include academic service as a Professor and Federal Grant Accountant at Northern Marianas College. Plunkert holds an MBA in Accounting & Marketing from the University of Colorado Boulder and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wyoming.
