Ziv Karliner is a seasoned professional in the cybersecurity and technology sectors, currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Pillar Security since October 2023, focusing on building and utilizing AI confidently. Prior to this role, Ziv worked at Aqua Security from March 2019 to June 2023 as both Product Manager and Senior Security Researcher, contributing to research and innovation in cloud-native security technologies. Ziv co-founded Identick in 2018, providing B2B solutions for real-time engagement with website traffic, and participated in the Microsoft Viable accelerator, winning the 2018 YC startup school grant. Previous experience includes a position as a Security Researcher at IBM from January 2015 to February 2018, where research on financial malware variants and customer fraud investigations occurred, and as a Full-Stack Developer at KELA Israeli Intelligence from April 2013 to January 2015, focusing on cybersecurity intelligence platforms. Ziv holds a Zell Entrepreneurship Program degree and a double major B.A. in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship from Reichman University.
